description

  • This project uses measurements of CO2 , H2 O and other volatiles in deeply quenched submarine glasses and olivine-hosted melt inclusions from the five active Hawaiian volcanoes (Loihi seamount, Kilauea, Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and Hualalai) to determine the sources and fluxes of volatiles through the volcanic construction above the Hawaiian hotspot.
